#fortifiedfriday - I just realized that I havn’t had any port for a while and that just isn’t right. I felt that something was missing. Today I’m setting things right with a bottle of Dow’s LBV 2006. That wasn’t a generally declared vintage year partially because of a hail storm that hit the area of Pinhão and some vineyards lost up to 30% of their crop. But this LBV hits the spot. Nice silky texture with a tight finish. Delicious half bottle that shows very good drinkability even at this age. Thank God it’s Fortified Friday!
